Something Different for the grill…….
Grilled Pears with CHOCOLATE SAUCE.

 

What you need

 

Pears 4
Sliced almonds ¼ cup, toasted, to sprinkle

Chocolate sauce:
semisweet chocolate 6oz
water 3 tablespoons
golden syrup 3 tablespoons
butter 1 tablespoon


Proceed

 

Make the chocolate sauce. Melt the chocolate with water, gold syrup and butter in a double saucepan. Mix until the sauce is glossy and smooth.

Heat grill or grill pan.

 

Peel the pears, if wished, cut into quarters and core. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side.

 

Serve the grilled pears with the chocolate sauce and sprinkled with toasted almonds.

 

To make this a really wicked dessert, serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
